The Bridport Plan

Following the Community Governance review and boundary changes, Bridport Town Council will look different after the elections on May 2nd 2024. The Liberal Democrats will use the opportunity to work together with all parties and stakeholders to ensure the new town council delivers for all and we will continue with cross-party engagement in all decision making.

End Dorset's Dental Desert!

It's time for Dorset's dental desert to come to an end. Since 2010, Conservative cuts have meant that there has been a £1 billion real-terms spending cut in the dental budget. Now, people across West Dorset are struggling to see an NHS dentist when they need one.

Housing Action Plan

We are calling on the Government and Dorset Council to take action now to tackle Dorset’s housing crisis. The Liberal Democrats have a plan to make more homes available for local young people and families by reducing the number of second homes and holiday lets.

Twenty's Plenty!

We are calling on Dorset Council to streamline the current approach to 20mph speed limits in residential areas. The current process is too lengthy and bureaucratic, and simply represents another obstacle to keeping people safe.
