David Taylor

Dorchester North Candidate for Dorchester Town Council

David is strongly against the Conservative plans to construct 3,500 houses between Charminster and Dorchester, without any or little provision for affordable homes.

He has had an exciting career in the catering, retail, and banking sectors before settling in Dorchester 25 years ago. After that, he entered the field of politics and became a Councillor in 2011.

David served as the Mayor of Dorchester in 2019. He is closely associated with various community groups, providing them with help and support. David is well-known for his passion for our area and has vigorously fought for the people's voice to be heard and acted upon.

He has a strong belief in the welfare of our community and has worked hard to preserve our essential local services such as buses, GP surgeries, Tourist Information Centre, and libraries.

David Taylor is also the Councillor for the Charminster St. Mary's Ward in Dorset Council.
