Frances Hogwood

Poundbury Candidate for Dorchester Town Council

Frances is a retired GP who worked in the NHS for over 40 years.

She believes that decisions should be made at the local level.

Frances moved to Poundbury in 2012 and understands that the area is not immune to social problems. She actively participates in several environmental groups, including Poundbury litter pickers, Transition Town Dorchester (which manages a thriving community farm and orchard), and Dorchester Transport Action Group.

Additionally, she serves as a trustee for Dorset CPRE (Campaign for the Protection of Rural England).
