An educationalist and leading community campaigner has been selected as the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate for Gainsborough. Lesley has said the seat is “neck and neck”, and called on the Conservative party to be kicked out of Gainsborough.

The Council committed to repairing one of the bridges in November 2022, with an estimated completion date of Summer 2024 but they have been unable to find a contractor to do the work for the estimated £567,000.
