Our road network is in crisis. Across the country, and also in Wokingham, underfunding from government over more than a decade has left local roads beyond their planned life and vulnerable to serious deterioration.
Responding to the King’s Speech, Liberal Democrat MP for Ely & East Cambridgeshire, Charlotte Cane said: “Laws to start tackling the crisis in our mental health services and stop filthy sewage entering our rivers are welcome.
'I would strongly encourage the Energy Secretary, Ed Miliband, to look at projects like the Cromarty Firth Green Freeport and I would invite him to come north as soon as possible to see for himself what is being done there.'
