More needs to be done to attract new jobs, shops and leisure facilities to Folkestone say local Lib Dems. Folkestone's Town Centre has never been in a worse state according to many local residents.
Local Lib Dems are pledging to improve recycling across the Folkestone and Hawkinge area if elected to run Shepway Council in May. They believe the Conservative run Council has not done enough to provide a decent service to local people.
Members of the Executive Committee have come in for criticism for debating the council's recycling policy when a decision already appears to have been made.
Following Full Councils decision to back Lib Dem proposals to stop the Aspects Park and Ride being axed Bedford Borough Council now claims the service may need to be temporarily put on hold for up to 6 months.
