At Least 50 Killed In London Attack

The head of the Metropolitan Police has said that the final death toll for the London bomb attack will be at least 50. Sir Ian Blair said there were a number of bodies still in the Tube train at Russell Square but that the final figure was unlikely to top 100.

National Casualty Bureau

A National Casualty Bureau number has been set up for enquiries relating to yesterday's terrorist incidents in Central London. The telephone number is 0870 1566 344. Kent Police is supporting this bureau, and have outlined the questions that will need answering if you need to call the helpline.

Dundee LibDems say - "National ID Cards: No Thank You!"

Dundee LibDem Councillors Helen Dick and Fraser Macpherson are opposing Labour plans for ID cards. A report by the London School of Economics prices the ID card system as costing up to £18 billion - an astounding £300 for every person in the country.
