Park Ward Liberal Democrats are running a summer recruitment campaign following on from the local elections. Robin Lawrence, who came so close to winning in May said "During the local elections we found lots of support for the Liberal Democrats, my team and I are now knocking on doors offering people the opportunity to join."
The Convener of Dundee Liberal Democrats has hit out at news that the Labour Government has announced another increase in the cost of passports for the second time in just 10 months.

There were over 50000 people from all over the world who attended the Katha over the 9 days.
The Liberal Democrat Group on Surrey County Council have called on the Council's ruling Conservative administration to take urgent action to reduce Surrey's impact on climate change, publishing a plan by the end of 2006. In a lively debate held at Full Council on 25th July, members from across the chamber joined the Liberal Democrats in calling on the Executive to show leadership in formulating a plan of action to combat climate change.
