The Government must tackle the Autism challenge

The number of cases of autism diagnosed in the United Kingdom has increased tenfold over the past decade, and that has led to a growing recognition that support services are vital to people with autistic spectrum disorders and for their families and carers.

The number of students who achieved good GCSE passes at New College in New Parks has more than trebled in a year.

Students across Leicester have recorded their best-ever GCSE results. Provisional results show that the number of students achieving 5 A*-Cs has risen from 45.6% in 2005 to 49% this year - an increase of 3.4%.
