The Guardian has covered the launch of the new Folkestone Triennial, saying: "Yesterday the inaugural Folkestone triennial was announced, a public art project to involve commissions by a blue-chip line-up of artists including Tracey Emin, Mark Wallinger, Nathan Coley, Tacita Dean, Richard Wentworth and Richard Wilson from Britain, and international figures such as Mark Dion and Christian Boltanski."

Consulting on possible Post Office closures will commence in May 2008. It is expected that at least 2,500 post offices across the country will close. This means that some in Rochdale may be under threat. At this stage Post Office bosses are refusing to speculate where they plan to close.
