Jon has lived in Sherborne for almost his whole life. He and his wife ran JJ Stores (now NSP Stores) in the town for 15 years. He is President of the Town Band, and Vice President of the Sherborne Rugby Club.

Jon has been a Sherborne Town Councillor since 2008. He was then elected to Dorset County Council in 2017, and was then elected to Dorset Council in 2019. He is a pillar of the community in Sherborne who has worked hard for local residents for over 15 years.

Jon said: “It’s truly an honour serving as your local Dorset Councillor. Sherborne has been my home for almost all of my life.

If I am re-elected, I will keep fighting hard for everyone in our town. We can’t trust the Conservatives to put Sherborne’s needs first.”
