Guy Patterson

Guy Patterson his wife Jill moved to Sherborne over twenty years ago. They live on Coldharbour.
Guy had a long term career interest in older people’s welfare and was a Regional Planning Manager for Help the Aged in the South West.
Following their merger into Age UK in 2009 he has worked in various roles with the Alzheimer’s Society, the NHS and Dorset Council.
Most recently he worked as a project officer for Healthwatch in Wiltshire and Hampshire.
His love of Italy and in particular Sicily gained him a doctorate through studying the post war development of rural Sicily.
Guy served on Sherborne Town Council before but stepped down because of work commitments.
